The owner of the Group started his business as an independent building contractor and developer in January 1969.

In 1973 GfI Gesellschaft fur Industrieforderung was founded.

The GfI Development AG, which was founded in 1992, is primarily involved in project development and turn-key construction.

Because of the globalisation the GFI Development AG was renamed to Globus Development AG in 2006.

Projects carried out by GfI Development AG range from 5 Mio to 150 Mio EURO.
